In addition to the exams offered at The Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme Examination Centre at Dogs Country Club, we also provide training and guidance for each level of the scheme. Our experienced trainers work closely with owners and their dogs to ensure they are well-prepared for the practical and theoretical components of the exams. Examinations are available for Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels.

Are you currently training through a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Obedience Course? Recently graduated from one of the aforementioned courses and want to put yours and your dogs skills to the test? Join us for one of Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme Exams. All exams are assessed by an accrediated examiner and aim to test you and your dogs knowledge and understanding each level - Bronze, Silver, and Gold.

The Bronze level is the starting point and focuses on basic obedience and socialization skills such as walking on a leash, responding to commands, and interacting with people and other dogs. This level also includes a section on responsible dog ownership where owners are asked questions about their knowledge of proper care and management of their dog.

Moving on to the Silver level, dogs are expected to have a higher level of obedience and demonstrate more advanced skills such as staying in one place for an extended period of time and being able to navigate through a crowd without getting distracted. This level also includes a section on health and welfare where owners are tested on their knowledge of common health issues and how to care for their dog's well-being.

Finally, the Gold level is the most advanced and requires dogs to have excellent obedience skills and a high level of control in various situations such as walking off-leash, staying calm when faced with distractions, and performing advanced tricks. This level also includes a section on emergency response where owners are tested on their ability to handle emergency situations with their dog.

The certificates earned through this scheme not only serve as a testament to the dog's abilities but also provide owners with a sense of accomplishment and pride in their well-trained canine companion. Additionally, these certificates can be used for various purposes such as insurance discounts, therapy work, or even just personal satisfaction.
