These terms and conditions apply between you, the User, and Dogs Country Club (DCC), the owner and operator of the website.
This page (together with the documents referred to on it) defines the terms and conditions on which we enable you to make an online booking for a place on any of our courses, workshops or seminars (‘Events’) listed on our ebooking system, e-newsletters, social media and on our Website. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking any of our Events. You should understand that by booking any of our Events, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Please understand that if you refuse to accept these terms and conditions, you will not be able to book any of our Events online.
Price and Payment
The price of any of our Events will be as quoted on our Website and relevant booking correspondence. Prices listed are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate unless otherwise stated.
Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect bookings in respect of which we have already sent you a Booking Confirmation, except in cases of obvious error.
You may pay for your booking online through Paypal. If you are unable to pay by Paypal then payment can be made by cash, card or through online bank transfer.
We regret that we cannot accept cheques as payment for bookings made. Credit and debit card payments can be made over the phone or in person. Cash payments are only accepted in person.
To successfully make an online booking you will need to create an online account by registering with our ebooking system. Once your personal details and dog’s details have been taken then you can book onto Events and chose your desired payment method. If paying by Paypal you will be transferred to the Paypal log in page to process the transaction.
Payment must be made at the point of booking. If you are not paying by Paypal then please call 07826872305 to make a payment to secure your place. For 8 week courses a £30 deposit secures your place with the remaining £50 due on the first day the course begins.
If paying by bank transfer please email us on to inform us of this so we can ensure we receive your payment. Payment should be made into Lloyds Bank, Sort Code 77-59-01. Account Number 66105460. Use your dogs name as a reference with the course start date. For all other Events payment must be made in full prior to the start date.
Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of data which you send us by email. Accordingly, please do not send us payment information using email. Unless we are fraudulent or negligent, we will not be liable to you for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to the personal and transactional information that you provide us when making a booking.
We reserve the right, from time to time, to run special promotional offers on events. Special Offers may include, but are not limited to, price promotions. In the event of a Special Offer, additional terms and conditions may apply which will be made available at the time of booking.
Any places booked at an Event prior to the Special Offer will not be offered the promotion retrospectively, unless specifically agreed by DCC.
Confirmation of Booking
After making a booking you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your booking request and confirming your place on the course. Please note that if we do not receive a deposit for an 8-week course then your place is not secure and we may offer your place to someone else.
The contract between us (‘Contract’) will only be formed when we send you the Booking Confirmation. The Contract will relate only to those Events which we have confirmed in the Booking Confirmation. Should there be a limited number of places at each Event these will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings.
You will receive an instructions email confirming timings and items needed once your booking has been processed usually 2-3 days before the start of the Event. If you still have not received this the day before your Event start date please contact us. Prior to contacting us, please ensure you have checked your email inbox as well as your spam and junkmail, just in case the additional instructions have been sent to these inboxes by your email client.
We reserve the right to make changes to the published programme of an Event (but not the overall content), for example to timings and/or trainers if one is unable to attend. In such cases, you will not be entitled to a refund if you cancel your place.
Our Events are held at Dogs Country Club, Lowton, Warrington.
You are liable for any loss or damage which you may cause to our premises and agree to adhere to all housekeeping rules, procedures and policies (including policies as to behaviour and conduct) that may be in place.
If you have a disability or medical condition that requires special arrangements to be made, please notify us of your requirements when making your booking.
Our Cancellation and Refund Policy
No refunds will be made for cancellations. Monies can be transferred to an alternative Event or used against another service we provide including field hire, day care or home boarding. In such circumstances a credit note will be issued.
We reserve the right at any time and without prior warning in our absolute discretion, to cancel your booking where we need to do so due to circumstances outside of our control (including, but not limited to, situations where sufficient numbers have not booked for the Event). We shall have no liability for losses or costs which you may incur due to such cancellation but we shall refund your booking payment (in full as soon as possible) or offer you an alternative Event if one is available. You have the choice of accepting the refund, a credit note or attending the alternative Event.
We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase but reserve the right to refund using an alternative method.
We often take photographs at events for marketing purposes. By attending an event, you are giving us permission to use images in which you may be present. Should you not wish to appear in any images, please notify the photographer at the event.
Event attendees shall be required to keep their personal belongings with them at all times and we accept no liability for damage to, or loss of, personal belongings. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss (including, without limitation, theft) of any property occasioned on our premises save for any damage caused by our negligence in which circumstances our liability shall be limited to the amount of our insurance for such losses.
We will not be responsible to you or any third party for any business loss (including loss of revenue, profits, contracts, anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, data or goodwill) or any other loss or damage which does not result directly from our actions.
Nothing in these online event booking terms and conditions excludes our liability to you for personal injury or death caused by our negligence.
Events Outside Our Control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control. This may include any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control.
Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications we send to you should be in writing. When using our Website you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. We will contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on our Website. For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
We may use photographs taken at Events in publicity and marketing materials, including use on our Website. Your attendance at an Event may mean that you are featured in such photographs and you are deemed not to object to the taking of such photographs as detailed above. If you do not wish to be included in any photograph, please notify the photographer at the relevant Event prior to the photographs being taken.
Our Right to Vary these Terms and Conditions
We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system's capabilities.
You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you place a booking with us, unless any change to those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority (in which case it will apply to bookings previously made by you), or if we notify you of the change to those policies or these terms and conditions before we send you the Booking Confirmation (in which case we have the right to assume that you have accepted the change to the terms and conditions, unless you notify us to the contrary within seven working days of receipt by you of the Booking Confirmation).
Law and Jurisdiction
Contracts for the booking of Our Events through Our Site will be governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from, or related to, such Contracts shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
It is with great sadness that due to the current situation we are facing with Covid 19 and the pending extinguishment of Dogs Country Club in the coming months due to HS2; we have made the decision to bring forward the permanent closure of Dogs Country Club Ltd from Friday 3rd April 2020.
To offer a continuation of service to our key workers, Dee Waddup our Day Care Manager has agreed to carry on offering a day care service in her own name. From Tuesday 7th April 2020 Dee’s Dogz will provide a day care service from Tuesday to Friday 6.30am to 6.30pm for all key workers at the same site.
A new booking system will be going live on Wednesday 1st April – clients are able to create their own profiles to make and manage bookings through the mobile app. Again, in a bid to reduce contact all payments will be made through the app, using its secure integrated paying system.
