Group Classes:

  1. If you cannot attend a group class that you are booked onto, please give 48 hours notice where possible so that the Trainer can be aware of how many will be attending the class.
  2. If you miss a class, you will be sent the email recap of everything that was taught during the class.
  3. If you do miss a class, please do book onto a free catch up session at a time suitable to yourself so that you can be updated on everything that was taught in the previous class.
  4. If you miss three or more classes and you have notified the training team appropriately, any remaining credits will be transferred to 1:1 sessions to allow you and your dog to receive the training and be caught up. Alternatively, you can be transferred to a later class to catch up on anything which has been taught previously and complete the course. Please note: if you are transferred to a new class, you may need to pay the difference for any additional classes.
  5. If you miss three or more classes and have failed to notify the training team appropriately, you may lose your remaining credits and place on the course. If the course which you had originally purchased is not suitable for you and your dog, the training team will discuss different options such as a different course or moving to 1:1 sessions, any credits already purchased will be transferred to this course instead.
  6. If you decide the course you was originally enrolled on no longer suits you and your dog, you must put this in writing within 24 hours of the first class of the course to either [email protected] or [email protected] so that your remaining credits may be transferred to an alternative course or towards 1:1 classes. Failure to report this within the first 24 hours of the course beginning may see that you lose any paid for credits and will not be able to use these against another course.
  7. Payment for the course is due in full or have secured the pay weekly option prior to the course starting.
  8. All payments must be made via the secure payment links through the website. Payments cannot be made in cash at the classes.
  9. Should the pay weekly subscription fails for any reason, please ensure this is reactivated within 48 hours of the cancellation, failure to do so may lead to cancellation of your spot on the desired course.
  10. Should you face any issues with the pay weekly subscription which leads to you being unable to pay, please contact the training team in writing within 48 hours via [email protected] or [email protected] so that this can be discussed to avoid your place being cancelled.
  11. Before the course has begun, if there is an unexpected circumstance which can not be avoided and you need to cancel the full course following booking, please give 48 hours notice prior to the course starting and the course credit can be transferred to the next course starting after the one originally booked.
  12. Should you wish to cancel a course, it is our policy to transfer previously paid credits to a different course or area of Dogs Country Club such as doggy day care, off-lead play sessions or field hire (this is not a limited list of transfers, other areas are available and should be discussed with the management team upon cancellation).
  13. If a payment is taken by selection of the wrong course or payment method, you must inform the team in writing via email to [email protected] or [email protected] within 24 hours of the payment being taken so that this can be rectified. If you inform the team after this date, a refund may not be issued.
  14. Refunds for attended courses are only provided in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the management team. Refunds are not guaranteed.
  15. We reserve the right to deduct any unrecoverable payment processing costs from any refunds returned to yourselves. This will be outlined in the refund confirmation email.

  3. If you cancel your appointment after the 48 hours notice period, you will lose your credits and will need to purchase another session.
  4. All payments must be made via the secure payment links through the website. Payments cannot be made in cash at the classes.
  5. If you have booked the 4 sessions offer, please ensure that these sessions are booked as early as possible to avoid disappointment. At Dogs Country Club, we respectfully require a notice period of 48hrs to cancel or rearrange any appointment. This is to ensure the grooming slot can be filled. Appointments can be rearranged/ cancelled via an automated booking system.

To ensure appointments aren’t missed or forgotten, a text and email reminder will be sent upon booking and 48 hours before your appointment is due. Missing an appointment without contacting us, prevents other clients from receiving our services.

The deposit of £20 is paid when reserving the appointment slot. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the groom with the remaining amount being paid on the day (via cash, card or online booking system). All deposits are non-refundable. If the grooming appointment is no longer required, the deposit will be credited to use at another Dogs Country Club facility.

As we know, running late happens to everyone, if you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible. This will allow us to ensure the groom can go ahead in the time allotted.

Dog Grooming Health Policy

If your pet is unwell (e.g., vomiting, diarrhoea, kennel cough,) prior to the groom, please contact Dogs Country Club as soon as possible. This is to prevent further stress and discomfort to your pet and ensures the safety and well-being of other client dogs.

When booking your dog in for a groom, we will ask for any medical history and current medical problems your pet may have. If before the groom there is a change in your dog’s health, it is important to inform Dogs Country Club as soon as possible so we may update your dog’s information. Allergies must also be disclosed prior to preventing any adverse reactions to products within the groomers.

All dogs must be vaccinated and up to date. Dogs that are unvaccinated pose a risk to themselves and others. Proof of titre tests are accepted.

Dogs Country Club will not be held liable for any underlying health or skin issues exposed during the groom. If any issues are found, the groomer will contact the owner promptly.

We are unfortunately unable to accept dogs that are pregnant or in season.

Dog Grooming Behaviour Policy

Dogs Country Club reserves the right to refuse dogs that present unacceptable behaviours that we feel may become a danger to themselves or others. It is at the groomers’ discretion as to whether the groom proceeds. If your dog is reactive towards people and/or dogs, please advise the groomer as to whether a muzzle is required.

Here at Dogs Country Club, your dog’s welfare is our top priority and we do not wish to inflict any stress or discomfort to your dog whilst under our care. By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you will be agreeing that Dogs Country Club is allowed to apply extra charges for managing your dogs needs during the groom. Meetings with the groomer prior to the appointment can be arranged to discuss any issues, please email [email protected]

Dog Grooming Flea Policy

As part of the Dogs Country Club’s terms and conditions, all dogs should be up to date with flea and worm treatment. If fleas are found during the grooming process, the groom will be completed but an additional charge of £15 will be added on top of the groom’s price. The additional charge will cover the cost of sanitation of the groom room (towels bagged and washed separately, deep cleaning of all areas and equipment,) and flea elimination of your dog (brushed through with a flea comb and bathed with specialist shampoo.)

Dog Grooming Matting Policy

At Dogs Country Club, we understand that dogs become matted easily, and at no fault of their owner, but unfortunately, it is an increasingly common issue and can lead to grooming difficulties. Matting of a dog’s coat is a serious issue and can become harmful and painful if left unattended over time. It is advised that dogs prone to matts, are groomed regularly to allow the skin to breathe properly, reducing the risk of skin tears, and infections.

Here at Dogs Country Club, your dog’s welfare is our top priority and we do not wish to inflict any stress or discomfort to your dog whilst under our care.  If we find that your dog is matted during the groom, the groomer will contact you immediately to gain permission to cut the matts out. This will cause the time slot to be extended as clipping matts away can cause irritation due to the clipper blades running closer to the skin and becoming increasingly hot. Regular breaks will be taken to prevent stress and to allow the blades to cool down.

By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you will be agreeing that Dogs Country Club is allowed to apply extra charges for matting removal and that Dogs Country Club can not be held liable for any issues during or post matt removal due to a badly matted and neglected coat i.e., skin redness, itchiness, irritations, or lesions.

General Payment Terms

Full payment (and cleared funds) is required before we will release any certificates for training courses.

Cancellation Procedure

To cancel or move a booking/course we require notification in writing/email from either the person who booked the course or someone who can be easily identified as being from the same organisation and having authority to make the decision. The time frame required for refunds is detailed in the Refund Terms below.
