Consultations & 1-2-1 Sessions

1-2-1 Training

If you feel you need time to talk about your dog and have one or more hours to dedicate to your dog training with one of our instructors, then 1-2-1 training is the best option.

It is also good for dogs that are not good around other dogs, get too stressed or agitated. If you have a dog that barks a lot, we will strongly advice a 1-2-1 consultation first, before booking into any workshops or classes.

We provide a minimum of one-hour session, where theory and practice will give you all the help you need.

Our topics include:

  • puppy training
  • recall training
  • lead walking
  • general obedience training
  • impulse control training
  • basic agility training
  • clicker training
  • and many more, just ask what you need and we will help!

1-2-1 Training (1hour) - £35

1-2-1 Training (4 hours – Block Booking) - £130

Payment is required in advance to secure your booking. There is a 48hour cancellation policy after which payment is non-refundable.

Behaviour Consultation

Temperament consultations require more time and study than a general obedience 1-2-1 session.

For that reason, we have a special booking system for our behaviour problems that will give you and us more time to work around your dog needs and will offer you and your dog a better service.

The behaviour issues we can address:

  • reactivity on lead
  • fear aggression
  • nervous behaviours
  • noise sensitivity
  • general anxiety issues
  • incessant barking
  • chasing issues (chasing cars, chasing birds)

A biting people issue could need referring to a vet behaviourist to start with, depending on the case.

Before booking a 1-2-1 for behaviour problems we would like you to have your dog checked by a vet to make sure he/she is not dealing with pain or health problems.

Pain, discomfort, physical limitations can cause behaviour problems.

Our 1-2-1 for behaviour problems is 1.5hours long. This will give us the time to assess your dog, talk about his/her history and background, life style, food habits and everything we need to know to be able to help your dog the best we can.

The 1-2-1 will start with a chat between the trainer and the owner, during which depending on the dog and on the day, your dog will be able to run off lead with us in one of our fields or in the barn in case of rain. Advice and exercises will be then shown and explained by our trainer and you will take home a written sum up of the lesson with your homework and some flyers to help with learning and follow up.

When possible, if needed and if your dog is at the stage already, we will work with some stooge dogs, using some of our own dogs who have a passive temperament.

Behaviour Consultation (1st Session 1.5hours) - £50

Behaviour Consultation (Following Sessions 1hour) - £35

Payment is required in advance to secure your booking. There is a 48hour cancellation policy after which payment is non-refundable.

It is with great sadness that due to the current situation we are facing with Covid 19 and the pending extinguishment of Dogs Country Club in the coming months due to HS2; we have made the decision to bring forward the permanent closure of Dogs Country Club Ltd from Friday 3rd April 2020.

To offer a continuation of service to our key workers, Dee Waddup our Day Care Manager has agreed to carry on offering a day care service in her own name. From Tuesday 7th April 2020 Dee’s Dogz will provide a day care service from Tuesday to Friday 6.30am to 6.30pm for all key workers at the same site.

A new booking system will be going live on Wednesday 1st April – clients are able to create their own profiles to make and manage bookings through the mobile app. Again, in a bid to reduce contact all payments will be made through the app, using its secure integrated paying system.

Please contact Dee on 07885 758923 or email

If you are not currently a DCC client but are a key worker in need of day care please do get in touch.
