Will I Receive a Certificate?
Yes, upon completion, you will be awarded a CPD Accredited Certificate in Dog First Aid
How do I access my Canine First Aid certificate?
Certificates can take up to a week from the course date to process but will be emailed to you as a PDF via ProTrainings, as well as, being accessible through your ProTrainings online account, where you can choose to download or print it. If you did want a hard copy delivered to you, wall mount certificates are available to order through your ProTrainings online account for a small fee.
How long is this workshop?
The Workshop is 4.5 hours
How much does it cost?
Workshop cost £65 per person
Do I bring my dog?
No, please leave your dog at home. We will work on dummy dogs
What time do I need to arrive?
The training will start at 12pm promptly so please arrive at 11.45pm for registration and to settle in. We aim to finish by 4-4.30pm

Do I need to bring anything with me?
A pen and pad are helpful for any note taking. You may also wish to bring some money for any purchases you wish to make.
Is free parking available?
Yes, please park in front of the polytunnels. Staff will be onsite to guide you
Are refreshments provided?
Yes, light refreshments are provided but you may wish to bring some lunch to eat since the training will not finish until after 6pm
Can I buy a first aid kit on the day?
Yes. Our recommended first aid kits and other items such as digital thermometers, tick tools, antiseptic spray and LickiMats will be available to purchase.
I’ve signed up to the Canine First Aid course, what happens now?
The week before your Canine First Aid Course takes place the trainer running the course will set up your ProTrainings account and you will receive an email from them with all the details on how to access this! Please check your spam folders when looking for this as they have a habit of making their way in there!
On your ProTrainings account you will be able to access loads of helpful resources with information about all the topics we discuss in the course (and more!) so there is no pressure to take notes! You can sign up for weekly refresher video emails and view the fab range of other courses they have to offer! You will also be able to access your certificate via your online account once the course is completed!
What happens on the day of the course?
On the day of the course you just need to bring yourself and anything that you feel will help you in the course, drinks and snacks are welcome and if you want to take notes you can but it is definitely not a requirement! There are facilities to make hot drinks on site, as well as toilets and we will have a comfort break half way through the course!
We try to ensure that the course is as interactive as possible, with a mixture of practical activities, demonstrations and discussion – questions are always welcome!
How long is my certificate valid for?
The Canine First Aid Certification is valid for 3 years from the course date. This date will be on your certificate and through your ProTrainings account you can set up a renewal reminder! If you are a pet owner you may decide you don’t need to renew your certificate after 3 years but if you are a pet professional it is very important you keep your certification up to date for licensing and to ensure the pets in your care have the best possible care quality!

If you have any questions once you have completed the course and received your certificate you are more than welcome to contact us and we will assist you as best as possible!
